The line graph shows the United States number of farms and workers from 1910 to 2000.

The biggest change was the dramatic drop in US farm workers. The workers kept the same rate for the first 10 years and it was 13.5 millions. Also the farms kept from 1910 to 1915 at 6.4 millions, but from 1915 to 1920 grew to 6.5 millions. The number of workers fell from 13.5 to 12.5 in around 1 decade. However, the farms stayed at 6.5 for around 1 decade. In the next 5 years the rate increased from 12.5 to 13 million for the workers and from 6.5 to 7 million for farms. The workers declined from 13 to 3 millions in 2000, while the farms decreased from 7 to 2.1 millions in 55 years.

In summary, the workers and farms in the United States had a big fall over 9 decades from 13 to 3 million for workers.

Should mobile phones be banned in the classroom?

Years ago, mobile phones were allowed in the work and in the class for those who work there, because not everybody had mobiles. Nowadays, each person in 1 family has at least 1 phone, and they take it with them in their work. I faced the advantages and disadvantages of using a mobile phone.

First of all, there are many advantages of mobiles in the class. The first point is that it helps the student with the calculator in mathematics class. The second benefit is that it spends your time in the break. For example listen to your favorite music as well as watching movies through downloading. The final important advantage is that it tells the absent students. For instance, when the students are absent, the rest can tell them by messages if there is a test or something like this.

Although mobile phones have advantages, they also have some disadvantages. The first problem is that students can’t focus in their class by looking at the phone many times. Another disadvantage is that it makes your GPA fall. For example, students feel bored in some classes, so they need to rest by sending messages to their girl friends and playing the games.

In conclusion, using mobile phones has lots of advantages and disadvantages and most of you will be aware of that. In my opinion, I agree with people to take the mobiles with them to their work, because maybe some emergency things will happen in their home.
